Mr. Spillers

While I believe you may have scored some points on Mr. Spillers as a result of the NO vote on the Troy Millage issue, where was your candidate Mr. Knollenberg at? Not only does he continue to not show any leadership on issues especially one this crucial, he continues to be detached from reality of what is going on in Lansing. Did you have to consult your Mr. Knollenberg after he was laughed out of Troy City Council and told to hit the road at the Clawson City Council.
So what if Mr. Spillers restricts access to his tweets. The only thing you need to be concerned about is his website. Twitter or Facebook, is for supporters of his campaign. I think you need to be more concerned on how you, Mr.Kollenberg, Glenn Clark, Troy Citizens United, Troy-Clawson Republican Forum and your two buddies on City Council are going to keep the City of Troy running. Like Mr. Spillers said last night, you are on the clock. Get to work. Stop worrying about getting access to social network cites Chet. You need to worry about saving Troy and fixing the State's budget. At least Mr. Spillers is showing leadership on the issues. Not in "HIDING" like Mr. Knollenberg.

"If politicians stopped meddling with things they don't understand, there would be a more drastic reduction in the size of government than anyone in either party advocates."

Watch the video!

Watch the video.
He called Larouche an "FDR Democrat". Of course, I make fun of that and in the interview I even do the right reportorial thing - "do you really thing FDR would oppose federalizing HC"? (paraphrased, I forget my exact words).
They are nuts, Bruce. I wrote this entry so clearly as to defy logic as to why your criticizing it. I wrote that Dems weren't responsible. But a quick search on the net shows that Larouche is closer to the D's and R's on issues, that he has run for President more than Nader as a self-declared Dem (and the Dems refused to recognize his candidacy, in fairness), etc. etc.
Finally, the "look within own ranks" statement was in the context of only those Dems who might have cast stones at Republicans early in the debate. They just assumed R's would carry signs with the Nazi-linkage.... no research, evidence, etc.

to even mention Democrats and these Larouchers in the same sentence. You do say, Democrats should look within their own ranks. They are NOT in our ranks and for you to imply that is irresponsible.
I've never heard any of the Larouchers say they consider themselves Democrats.

We agree (on your first comment)

We agree on your first comment, and, as I said, "Democrats shouldn't be blamed ..." for Larouchers, so too is the early misinformation against Republicans by some Democrats blaming Republicans for Larouchers.
I'd also note that my statement "Democrats shouldn't be blamed..." clearly takes me out of the "libel" category as you allege, and that Larouche is like David Duke is to the Republican Party. He claims us, we do not claim him and you'll note that I condemned all guilt by association logic for both sides in my longer post condemning the Larouchers.
